One of the latest mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 has completely remade the model of the first game’s most-hated antagonist.
Fans of Red Dead Redemption have viciously turned on Rockstar Games following a disappointing re-release of the original game on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

The re-release makes practically no improvements whatsoever on the original game, which upset thousands of fans who were hoping for a full-on remake. Rumours and insider claims pointed towards a full remake being developed by Rockstar, that’d bring the game’s visual quality up to Red Dead Redemption 2 standards, by remaking the game in the same engine.

Since that didn’t happen, fans have begrudgingly accepted that a remake isn’t on the cards for Rockstar, who’s most likely pouring all of its resources into Grand Theft Auto VI.
Some haven’t given up so easily, and have taken the “fine, I’ll do it myself” approach and made a number of mods that bring characters, locations, and other stuff from the first game into the second.
One of those mods has beautifully recreated Red Dead Redemption’s most-hated antagonist, Agent Ross, in the Red Dead Redemption 2 style.
Agent Ross hunted John Marston throughout the first game’s singleplayer mode, and popped up a few times during the second game, which acted as a prequel, to speak with Arthur Morgan about the Van Der Linde Gang.

The recreated model was shared on Reddit by its creator, TheKey32, who said: “I Remade RDR1 Agent Ross in RDR2's Engine since Rockstar won't do it themselves.” Fans praised the gorgeously-crafted model, and also poked fun at Rockstar for not spending some of their billions on a more substantial re-release.
