Red Dead Redemption 2 free download adds a brand-new heist to the game at no extra cost

Red Dead Redemption 2 is already full to the brim with things to do to satisfy your cowboy cravings. However, one free download adds a brand-new heist for Arthur to take part in.

If you have played Red Dead Redemption 2, then you already know that the open-world action-adventure game has hours and hours of content. Whether you spend your time aimlessly riding your horse around 19th century America or robbing banks, there is always something to do.

However, with the Rockstar title approaching its sixth anniversary, players are running out of content in the single-player game. Luckily for them, modders aren’t prepared to let the much-loved game die.

The Bank Wagon Heist is a free mod courtesy of CruelMasterMC on Nexus Mods. As you can probably already tell, it adds a brand-new heist to Red Dead Redemption 2 at no extra cost.

“In this mod you can prep and rob a Bank Stage, this simple heist comes with three preps and a finale,” reads the mod description.

The first preparation mission will see Arthur travel to a camp which is home to some bank wagon drivers. Here he will either be able to intimidate or kill the leader in order to attain route details.

Next, Arthur will help two wagon drivers steal back their vehicle which in turn, will have them assist you in the upcoming heist. After this, players will need to travel to Rhodes to obtain a shipment of explosives.

Last but not least, the heist is ready to go with the fake drivers taking the place of the real bank wagon drivers and traveling to the location. Cue a few bombs and a few guns and the money is all yours.

This is just one of many mods available for free for Red Dead Redemption 2 which is one of the reasons the game is as popular today as it was back in 2018.
