‘Skyrim Anniversary Edition’ Includes New Quests Connecting To ‘Morrowind’ And ‘Oblivion’

‘Skyrim Anniversary Edition’ Includes New Quests Connecting To ‘Morrowind’ And ‘Oblivion’

The anniversary edition will include new items and lore connecting back to Elder Scrolls games

Ah, Skyrim, back again with another edition for us to buy - classic. As the epic RPG turns ten in November, Bethesda is releasing the game once again with some new content to celebrate its birthday. And although we had already heard about the fishing and the aquariums, it now seems that new quests will also connect the game more to the lore of Morrowind and Oblivion.

As reported by Eurogamer, a new video from Bethesda explains a little more about what the Anniversary Edition will include and as it turns out there are new items to the game which are from previous titles. One of the new quests coming to the game is called Ghosts of the Tribunal and when embarking on this adventure, you may come across some familiar-looking weapons.

Here is the new video from Bethesda explaining Skyrim’s new additions...

Daniel Lee, senior artist and creation club development lead, says to viewers: “In Ghosts f the Tribunal, you’ll earn over a dozen new weapons and armour featured in The Elder Scrolls III.” So that means if you’re a Morrowind fan you may be reunited with your old gear, right?

Additionally, the dev says: “In the Cause, you’ll encounter the Mythic Dawn, who are trying to form a new oblivion gate.” Right so stop a cult making another oblivion gate, got it… seems like a lot to do for just one Dragonborn right? Like I’m sure there are other adventurers who could help out if they liked, but sure, I’ll take that on too.

However, with this new edition, there will still be all of those classic adventures for you to embark on too. And recently, one Redditor documented their adventures as they followed Ulfric Stormcloak on the walk to the peace council at High Hrothgar. If you’re booting up The Skyrim Anniversary edition this November, you might want to go on that journey too.
