'Skyrim' Player Becomes Thor With Ridiculously Powerful Character Stats

Do I look to be in a gaming mood?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim celebrated its 10th anniversary this November and still attracts players to its sprawling fantasy realm like it's the hot new thing from indie developer Beth Esda. It's the creativity and commitment of the players that has been praised by the company and this Thor build for the Dragonborn is one of the best that we've seen.

The Anniversary Edition offered players the classic RPG with the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn DLCs as well as "500 unique pieces of Creation Club content, including quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells and more." And, it also packed in a fishing minigame with the ability to show off your catches in an aquarium in your house. Last but not least, for those frowning that Morrowind and Oblivion have been left in the cold, the Anniversary Edition included quests that rewarded characters with gear from The Elder Scrolls III.

“10 years from now, if Skyrim is still playable, then people will still be playing it," asserted audio director Mark Lampert in an interview. "And of course it will be, it's on everything. By then, we'll be playing on screens, your refrigerator, your Tesla on your commute. And it'll make you late for work." With all of the aforementioned and more, it's a wonder to see the Skyrim community discovering new ways to enjoy and explore the game.

This Thor build for the Dragonborn has impressed players with its accuracy and deadly efficiency. From Reddit user teejbreakbeat, it requires zero mods to rampage through the snow like the Norse hero. They appear to be a Nord and picked themselves up the Stalhrim Mace as their Mjolnir. This weapon came with the Dragonborn DLC and is available as a purchase from Baldor Iron-Shaper in Skaal Village or Glover Mallory in Raven Rock. Those with level 80 or above in the smithing skill can create the Stalhrim Mace with three Stalhrim and one Leather Strip.

Then, you'll need to specialise in shock destruction magic and heavy armour for the lightning abilities and the look. teejbreakbeat recommends "using the lightning cloak spell for the lightning effect, and dragon aspect later on for the glowing eyes" to truly strike the fear of Alduin in your enemies.

Awesome, right? Their next build will be Hela, Thor's older and maladjusted sister and the goddess of death. With hobbies like these, Bethesda is able to take their time to polish The Elder Scrolls VI to a shine.
