'Spider-Man 2' Gameplay Is "Exceeding Marvel's Expectations," Says Leaker

According to one insider, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming along really nicely, and we might be getting a gameplay reveal soon.

Who’s excited for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2? Of course you are, what a silly question. Insomniac Games’ highly anticipated PS5 title is currently set to swing onto screens sometime in 2023, featuring Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

Take a look at the trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 right here.

As of now, we’ve only seen one trailer for the game, but that could apparently be set to change before long. According to insider and entertainment media data analyst Millie Amand, not only will gameplay be shown soon, but it’s already “exceeding expectations”.

“[Spider-Man] 2 for PS5 is ‘exceeding expectations’ for Marvel higher-ups. ‘Fluidity’ and ‘visual punch’ is striking according to an employee of Marvel,” Amand tweeted. “Another employee thought they were watching a cutscene. Gameplay to be shown soon.”

Earlier this year, a different leak emerged claiming that the upcoming title will encourage more free roaming between missions (which you can do either as Peter or Miles), and will also apparently include a third playable character, who can’t free roam. The identity of this supposed character wasn’t directly revealed, but they’ll apparently boast a unique move-set which utilises projectiles, smoke, and tentacles, so make of that what you will.

It goes without saying, but for now, all this is unofficial information, so do take it with a generous pinch of salt until it’s actually confirmed. Hopefully, if Amand’s claims end up being true, we won’t have to wait too long.
