Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets went on sale at the start of this week, and the reaction has been... intense.
Fans around the world desperately scrambled to secure their seats for the movie's highly antipcated opening night in the biggest ticket presale since Avengers: Endgame. Box office websites crashed, scalpers have taken to eBay to flog tickets for silly prices, and folk have generally completely misplaced their minds over the whole thing.
Seriously, has anyone considered just calming down and not going on opening night? No? Okay then.

While the scenes online are bad enough, things appear to be even worse for those attempting to buy a Spidey ticket in person. As reported by Spanish newspaper Diario de Morelos, an actual fist fight broke out over tickets earlier this week outside a cinema in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
The publication claims on "Spider Monday" (ugh) would-be moviegoers were "beaten" by desperate fans who wanted to get in line and secure their tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home. You can see the shocking footage below, courtesy of Diario de Morelos.

It's worth noting that the full circumstances behind the brawl have yet to be confirmed. While it's believed the primary reason was indeed bubbling tensions over Spider-Man tickets, there were more than likely other mitigating factors that led to the dust-up. Maybe somebody said The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was their favourite movie?
Anyway, Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in UK cinemas on December 15. Just try not to attack anyone on your way to see it, please.
