Star Wars Fan Creates Super-Cut Of Order 66, As It Happened

Star Wars Fan Creates Super-Cut Of Order 66, As It Happened

One Star Wars fan has edited together every Order 66 scene and the end result is heartbreaking.

It’s no secret that Star Wars fans are endlessly creative. In case you missed it, one fan recently edited Obi-Wan Kenobi down into a feature film and it’s well worth a watch. Another fan created what is perhaps the best X-Wing dogfight we’ve ever seen. Lucasfilm should really hire these folks but in the meantime, we can heap praise on their work - and this latest Order 66 project is equally as epic.

Speaking of Star Wars, check out the latest trailer for Andor below.

There are plenty of tear-inducing scenes in the Star Wars franchise. There’s Han’s death, Leia’s death, Qui-Gon’s death, Padme’s death - there’s a lot of death, okay. The most tragic moment though has to be Order 66, and one Star Wars fan has created a soul destroying Order 66 super-cut.

The project is the work of YouTuber xVoidxHunter and the video collates together every Order 66 related scene, placing them in order so fans can watch 16 minutes of Order 66 unfolding in real time. The video includes clips from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars: Bad Batch, The Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Revenge of the Sith.

The end result is both very cool and also very sad. In fact, fans soon flocked to the video’s comments to share their utter despair. Juss-Kevin wrote, “Jesus christ, now that I see all perspectives, Order 66 is so tragic,” whilst LilithEveRain added, “I’m in awe. I'm not going to lie, it definitely brought up an emotional response. I don't think I've ever teared up for Star Wars before.” Kyle Mullins said, “Wow that was emotional and super tragic. Really hits you how intense order 66 was,” which sums up the whole video nicely. Grab your tissues before you press play.
