‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Alleged Release Window Appears Online, And It’s Soon

It’s been a busy ol’ week for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which we no longer need to refer to as ‘Fallen Order 2.’ The big news of the week is of course the updated title, but it’s also been teased by Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Ewan McGregor that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may tie in with the aforementioned Disney+ series.

At this stage, we’re all hyped about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Darth Vader surely has unfinished business with Cal after he made himself one of the most wanted Jedi in the galaxy. One thing I am hoping for this time around is less confusing maps. The Zeffo ice caves were quite possibly the bane of my existence. Regardless of what you’re hoping to see from the sequel, it could be in our hands far sooner than we originally thought.

Industry insider Jeff Grubb recently took to Twitter to announce what he understands to be the release window for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. According to Grubb, the game will be released in February or March 2023.

If you cast your minds back, Jedi: Survivor was originally supposed to release in 2022, but Grubb credits that the delay was down to Respawn’s decision to make Jedi: Survivor new-gen only.

Just last week, a leaked yearly financial report from Electronic Arts confirmed that both a “major IP” and “partner title” would be released in Q4 which runs from January to March 2023. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor could fall into either category so it certainly supports what Grubb is saying.

Nothing has yet been officially confirmed by EA or Respawn Entertainment so these rumours do have to be taken with a pinch of salt, but they are convincing. Star Wars Celebration is on the horizon, and is set to commence on 26 May so perhaps we’ll finally get an official full reveal very soon.
