Chances are you're already with Agony, a seriously brutal survival horror game in which players are tasked with escaping hell.
Released by developer Madmind Studios in 2018, it was swiftly met with negative reviews from critics and users alike. While the game's grotesque depiction of hell earned it some praise, most agreed that Agony was simply not that fun to play.
Some time after Agony's release, Agony Unrated was announced. The idea was to give fans an even edgier version of an already gruesome game. While it was initially cancelled "due to technical and legal reasons", it eventually ended up on Steam anyway as a free bonus for those who owned the original game.

Except now? It's gone again. As reported by PC Gamer, Agony Unrated has been pulled from players' Steam libraries with absolutely no warning.
Madmind Studio explained in a blog post after players noticed what was happening that Agony and Agony Unrated "were delinked by Steam."
The studio wrote: "Until now, if you bought Agony you also received a copy of Agony Unrated in your library. This was always our intended way to do this and that didn't change. As some of you are also aware, games with themes similar to ours can often face some difficulties on this platform.
"Unfortunately, we still don't have full knowledge on why they were delinked and we're unable to link the games again using our own tools, so we're now in contact with Steam support to work out the solution that'll satisfy everyone."

What's really strange about this is that Agony Unrated remains available to purchase via Steam alongside the original version. Those that paid for Unrated and didn't receive it for free can still access their copies.
