Stranger Things 4 drew to a close a few weeks ago, but not before it broke a major record. Netflix’s hit series racked up 7.2 billion views between 30 May and 5 June, which breaks Nielsen’s all-time record for total weekly views. Unsurprisingly then, the entirety of the cast were once again catapulted into the world’s spotlight.

There was some good to come from that. During a recent appearance at London Film & Comic Con, breakout star Joseph Quinn was brought to tears when fans told him how much he meant to them, but there’s also some utter s**t that comes with being in the public eye, as Nancy actress Natalia Dyer has learnt all too well.

Take a look at Netflix's new trailer for Tekken: Bloodline below.

A TikTok recently went viral after an aesthetician spoke through what she’d do to Natalia Dyer if she was a client. The aesthetician, Miranda Wilson, explained how she’d slim down Natalia’s masseter muscles (sides of the jaw), add in some chin filler to add a “heart shape,” in addition to adding lip filler and botox to lift the brows. Take a look at the clip below.

Wilson then revealed a photoshop mock up of what Natalia would look like after the cosmetic work, and the whole debacle is disgusting … as if we don’t have enough to deal with. Social media already fuels our toxic internal comparisons, compounded by unrealistic filters that slim and enhance everything we see online. No one needs a plastic surgeon telling them what’s wrong with their face.

I think we can all agree that Natalia is a stunner, and is perfect just as she is. One fan, Twitter user probablypersian, wrote, “I could never be a celebrity because if someone made a video like this about me, I would get violent.” Since the TikTok went viral, aesthetician Wilson said that she “did not mean to offend anyone.” Instead she was “simply offering suggestions.” Yeah, suggestions that weren’t asked for. Smh.
