Pro Gamer Who Hates Short Men Hits Out At People With Small Boobs And No Jobs

Last week, pro Tekken player Tanukana was fired from the Japanese esports team Cyclops Athlete Gaming after she made derogatory comments about short men live on stream, claiming that they “don’t have human rights”. Now, a number of other remarks that she has made have surfaced online, sparking yet more outrage. 

As reported by Kotaku and TheGamer, the streamer allegedly said that people with A-cup breasts also don’t have human rights, and that anyone with low or no income are “trash”. In one of the most extreme cases, she once reportedly told someone during a stream that they were “the trashiest trash of society”, and that they should “kill themselves”. 

It doesn’t end there, either. Since the announcement that Tanukana would no longer be a part of the esports team, she has also been accused of making negative comments about people from the LGBTQ+ community and people of colour, as well as a number of remarks about mental illness (as reported by Sportskeeda). 

Cyclops, the streamer’s former esports team, published an apology when the situation first arose: “We’ve confirmed that on February 15, Tanukana, who is a member of Cyclops Athlete Gaming, made an improper remark on a stream,” they wrote (as translated by Kotaku). “Regarding this matter, we would like to offer a deep apology to the fans, sponsors, and everyone else who supports us.”

Tanukana had also originally posted an apology on Twitter for her comments about short men: “I am very sorry to all the fans who support me on a daily basis, to all the sponsors such as Red Bull, [for] my selfish remarks,” she wrote (as translated by Google). “I take it seriously that my remarks during the [stream were] unacceptable and that my lack of awareness has led to it. There is no excuse for disappointing you in this matter. As a professional esports player and as a member of society, I deeply regret and apologise for betraying you.”

Since then, the streamer has gone quiet online, and hasn’t responded to the situation any further.
