Subscriber Who Won Mr Beast's 100 Million Challenge Got Their Own Private Island

To celebrate reaching 100 million subscribers, Mr Beast let subscribers compete to win a private island.

Just when you think Mr Beast has piqued with his extravagant stunts, he surprises us with something else. The man must have an endless stream of money. Last year, the YouTuber spent $3.5 million on a real life recreation of Squid Game. The creator gathered 456 fans to compete against each other for a prize fund of $456,000.

The stunt failed to grasp  the purpose of Squid Game but hey, people watched it and I guess that’s the point. Since then, Mr Beast has been teasing his “biggest stunt ever” to celebrate reaching 100 million subscribers and let’s just say, one subscriber's life is never going to be the same.

Content creators provide us with plenty of memorable moments. Take a look at some of our favourites below.

On 4 August, Mr Beast kicked off the celebrations by inviting 100 subscribers to compete to win a private island. Contestants had to participate in four challenges. The first challenge saw participants tasked with igniting a flame torch using only rocks. They then had to survive a game of ‘Red Light, Green Light’ before walking the plank in their third challenge.

When it came to the fourth and final challenge, only five contestants remained. Each contestant had the option to leave the competition, taking home $50,000, or they could stay and compete to win the private island. All five remained. They were tasked with scouring the island for a briefcase containing Mr Beast’s 100 million subscribers YouTube Play Button.

After several hours, the lucky winner stumbled across the briefcase, winning themselves a private island. The player relayed their shock saying, “It doesn’t even feel real,’ but oh boy. It is. I can’t begin to imagine what you’d do with a private island if you suddenly acquired one. Move there? Sell it? It’s a decision this lucky subscriber will now face.
