Gross Horror film that's making viewers faint finally available in UK

Terrifier 2 has finally landed in the UK and is now available to watch - if you're brave enough.

Some people enjoy watching horror films, believe it or not. I’m not one of them which means you couldn’t pay me to sit through what many are calling the scariest film of all time. Terrifier 2 has made quite the name for itself. The gruesome slasher recently hit the headlines after it left audiences throwing up and passing out. I shuddered typing that.

That idea must be appealing to some people though because the film has already made $7.9 million at the box office, which isn’t bad at all for a film that was made on a small budget of $250,000. Distributor Bloody Disgusting (apt name) has actually submitted the film for Oscar consideration. If you’re curious to see what all the fuss is about (don’t say I didn’t warn you), Terrifier 2 is now available to watch in the UK.

Check out the trailer below … if you’re brave enough (and have a strong enough stomach).

Terrifier 2 has skipped UK cinemas after it was deemed to be “too extreme,” but it is now available to rent on Amazon Prime Video - plus you can get your hands on the DVD or Blu-ray if you really wanted to. Somehow, the film is already sitting at number two on this week’s UK Official Film Chart Top 40.

What exactly is Terrifier 2 about, I hear ye ask? Let’s rewind back to Terrifier which introduced us to Art The Clown, or so I hear. Art hunts down three women on Halloween. Flash forward to Terrifer 2 and Art is back. This time, he’s hunting down a brother and sister duo. Unsurprisingly things get gruesome. I won’t dive into spoilers but I will add that even reading a full synopsis has left me feeling quite disturbed.

If this is all a little too extreme for you, Netflix has got you covered with an array of options. There’s the hit new series The Midnight Club which features the most jumpscares in a single episode of television, plus there’s Creep 2 which currently has a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. Meanwhile, you can catch me watching something wholesome like Hocus Pocus.
