This November is full of exciting game releases. Tomorrow (8 November) we’ll see the release of the blue blur’s latest “open-zone” adventure, Sonic Frontiers, and the day after that (9 November), Kratos will come crashing his way onto a PlayStation near you in God of War Ragnarök (assuming you preordered, that is, he won’t do it uninvited). Later in the month, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also be upon us. But it seems we all overlooked the most hype-worthy release of them all - The Bible.
The Bible is exactly what it sounds like. It’s the Bible, except it’s coming to Steam in “kinetic novel form” on 14 November. The whole thing has been voiced, and as Rock Paper Shotgun reports, will even include achievements. I have no idea what those could possibly be for, but it’s happening (although the developer has clarified that these will be added post-launch).

“The Bible is a digital recreation of the original work, in the form of a kinetic novel. Each book and story can be read in any order, and any passage can be saved and revisited later for study. This digital recreation includes an original soundtrack; and a wonderful audiobook presentation from beginning to end,” the official description on Steam reads. “A Trivia section has been added to test the knowledge of any who think they truly know the Scriptures. If you find yourself getting more wrong than you'd expect dive further into the text and find the answers for yourself!”

According to the developer, more translations are planned to be added so long as enough money can be raised for it - they’ll make the game/book free if these goals are met. Personally, I’m just curious to see what the achievements could possibly be - you just know that someone out there is now planning on doing a 100% speedrun of The Bible, which is hilarious.
