The Elder Scrolls: Berserkyr is absolutely huge, and you can play this mod now for free.

With The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim giving players the ability to transform into a werewolf or vampire, one modder is adding a new creature to the mix alongside brand new quests, enemies and lore.

Alongside heaps of exciting gameplay and content, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is home to a myriad of fantastical creatures and if you’re lucky, you may even be able to transform into one yourself. With the ability to become a werewolf or vampire, you can uncover new and exciting ways to take down your enemies.

However, one modder has gone beyond even that by creating ‘Tales of Skyrim - Berserkyr’, a mod which allows players to transform into a werebear. Not only will you be able to transform into a giant not-so-cuddly bear but the mod also comes with new enemies, armour, quests and even a whole-new skill tree.

“With 'Tales of Skyrim - Berserkyr', you will be able to become a werebear in Skyrim,” reads the mod synopsis. “Werebears have their own perk tree and gameplay mechanics to make them distinct from werewolves. They are tanks able to absorb hits more easily and can always regenerate health by feeding on the corpses of their enemies.”

Alongside the werebear ability, players will also get to meet a brand-new faction known as The Berserkers who are also able to transform. As the legendary bear-warriors of Skyrim, they live on the edges of society and hold the secret to the curse.

Once downloading this mod, all you have to do is head to the Four Shields Tavern in Dragonbridge to begin the two fully-voiced quests which will lead you on your werebear path.

In related news, Skyrim players have finally uncovered why the expansive world is not home to any female dragons and the answer may have been under our noses all this time.
