‘The Mandalorian’ Season Three Trailer Appears Online

‘The Mandalorian’ Season Three Trailer Appears Online

A trailer for the next season of The Mandalorian has appeared on Reddit, and it looks like Din Djarin and Grogu are going to Mandalore.

Back in May, during the Star Wars Celebration, we got the very exciting news that the third season of The Mandalorian is almost upon us.

Well, by "almost", I mean February. So it’s not super close... but rest assured, it’s on its way.

At the time of writing Disney hasn't officially released any footage showing us what season three has in store. However, a trailer that was previously exclusively aired to attendees of the Star Wars celebration appears to have surfaced online, and it’s shown off some very hype-worthy stuff that fans are already going wild for.

Star Wars Celebration did give us the trailer for Andor - check it out below.

Unfortunately, we’re dealing with a potato camera-quality level of footage here, so it’s not all super clear, but it certainly appears to be the real deal. As well as the appearance of The Rise Of Skywalker breakout character Babu Frik (which we did already know was happening), the trailer seems to be building up to a reckoning between Din Djarin and Bo Katan, a conflict which was originally teased at the very end of season two.

Easily the most cheer-worthy moment comes right at the end of the trailer, however, as we’re briefly shown what looks to be Mandalore itself. While we’ve seen Mandalore in the animated series (during The Clone Wars, and in a flashback as part of The Book of Boba Fett) our time with the destroyed planet has been limited until now. It’s exciting to know we should be seeing a lot more of it - and soon!

The clip of Mandalore also gives some credit to a rumour from last month, which suggested that the next season will be heavily focused on Din Djarin and the culture of Mandalorians. What better place to explore that than the planet itself? There’s no doubt that some fans will be glad to let Grogu take the backseat for a little while, too - he might be cute, but he’s definitely had his time in the spotlight.
