Star Wars: The Mandalorian viewers floored by ‘perfect’ final scene

Star Wars: The Mandalorian viewers floored by ‘perfect’ final scene

The third season of The Mandalorian has ended on a high, with viewers left floored by the 'perfect' final scene featuring Din and Grogu.

The season three finale of The Mandalorian has finally been released and one quick trip to social media will tell you that fans are absolutely thrilled with the ‘perfect’ final scene.

This has probably been The Mandalorian’s most divisive season, so it’s nice to see this block of episodes end on a high. If you ask me, Grogu has totally stolen the show. A major shoutout to the team’s bringing the little green guy to life because he’s been knocking it out of the park performance wise. Earlier this season, fans were also thrilled to see Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best return to the franchise in a new role. Warning: It’s time to address Chapter 24 spoilers. This week’s finale ended in the most wholesome way, with Din and his newly adopted son Din Grogu finally settling down to live the quiet life. My heart.

Ahsoka premieres on Disney Plus this August. Take a look at the trailer below.

Well, their version of a quiet life - seeing as Din and his newly appointed apprentice Din Grogu will act as independent contractors to the New Republic. Still, the episode saw Din formally adopt Grogu - hence the new name Din Grogu - with the duo moving to a brand new home gifted to them by Greef Karga on Nevarro. The episode ended with the duo sitting outside their new home - Din with his feet up, enjoying the sunset, and Grogu using his force powers to play with a frog in a nearby pond. Just a wholesome father and son moment. I was beaming with happiness.

I’m not alone either. Star Wars fans are freaking out about the scene online. Twitter user myselbisonfire wrote, “Perfect ending to a vastly under-appreciated season,” while leia_romanova added, “All I’ve ever wanted is for Din Djarin to have a physical home and now he does, with his son. I’m crying so hard I might pass out.” User joeIsmillers said, “Sorry, but what if Grogu has his own little room that Mando decorates and what if they have a little day to day schedule that they go off and have a domestic little life.”

Pepsipascal tweeted, “Din Djarin sleeping peacefully at night knowing his son is fast asleep under his roof and life is good.” As many have pointed out, this feels like a series finale but season four has already been written, so I shouldn’t think Grogu and Din’s domestic life will last for long. For now, enjoy the wholesome vibes, my friends.
