The season three finale of The Mandalorian is set to air tomorrow, wrapping up another chapter is Din Djarin and Grogu’s story, but attentive fans believe the most recent episode has made Star Wars history by including the franchise’s first F-bomb.
Season three’s penultimate episode, ‘The Spies’, followed Din and Bo-Katan’s quest to unite the Mandalorian tribes and launch an assault to take back Mandalore. However before they set off, Din and Grogu were called to their friend Greef Karga’s home for a special gift, a reconstructed IG-11 which Grogu can now pilot like a mech, a pretty cool upgrade for the foundling if you ask me.

It was in this scene that one of the little creatures responsible for IG-11’s reconstruction, called Anzellans, allegedly said “I’m out motherf***er” whilst running away from Grogu. The Disney+ subtitles state this part of the audio as “speaks Anzellian”, but fans are adamant that the squeaky-voiced dropped the very first Star Wars f-bomb.

Viewers quickly jumped to Twitter to discuss the episode’s events, and to confirm if anyone else had heard the expletive. One fan said, “Hey, did that Anzellan just say (right after 'no squeezie') 'I'm out, motherf***er' at the end? It's canon now - We have our first 'motherf***er' in Star Wars.”
Other viewers quickly agreed that the F-bomb was used, stating: “Yes he did! I caught that and was like 'Wait a minute, he didn't say what I THINK he said did he?!' and after the fourth time I was grinning.”
While it can’t be confirmed if the Anzellan did or didn’t say it, it’s not entirely out of the question as Star Wars is surprisingly no stranger to profanity, albeit usually masked by made-up words like "dank ferric” and the infamous “nerf herder.” That being said, the Andor Disney+ series made waves when it included the franchise’s first recorded use of the word 's**t'.
It’s safe to say that Star Wars isn’t going to start purposefully including swears in its upcoming films and shows, especially with Disney at the helm, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all laugh at the funny little aliens possibly dropping F-bombs at random. We’re just surprised Mace Windu didn’t get one in first.
