The Witcher season four Liam Hemsworth deepfake trailer is already being roasted by fans.
Season three of The Witcher series on Netflix is expected to arrive this summer and fans are excited to see Henry Cavill reprise his role as Geralt of Rivia. However, it will also be the final time that Cavill will play the role after a seemingly messy departure from the series, something that fans continue to come to terms with.
Replacing Cavill is Liam Hemsworth, brother of Thor and Marvel Cinematic Universe star, Chris Hemsworth. Fans can often take change poorly, especially when it involves such a beloved series, not to mention an actor as cherished as Henry Cavill.

So even if Liam Hemsworth was to knock his performance out of the park from the get-go, it’s going to be a gargantuan task to replace the Man of Steel and for some fans, it might be impossible to get over.
Thankfully in the advanced age of digital media and AI, we’re able to get a preview of sorts as to what Liam Hemsworth may look like as Geralt of Rivia, all thanks to deepfake technology. One such example is courtesy of the YouTube channel, stryder HD.
In an upload titled “The Witcher - New Season 4 - First Look | Liam Hemsworth Geralt Arrives | DeepFake”, we’ve been giving what is possibly the best glimpse of Cavill’s replacement. Sadly for Liam Hemsworth, this ‘First Look’ has been all that well-received.
For starters, at the time of writing, the Like to Dislike ratio sits at 438 and 1.3k, respectively. Though to be fair to the uploader, this ratio was probably expected and they will no doubt be happy with the video views fast approaching 800k. In the comments section of the YouTube video, fans let their feelings be known about the controversial replacement.
