These Gaming Tattoos Take Fandom To The Next Level

We’ve featured gaming-based tattoos a few times here, but none are quite as impressive as the mash ups and montages created by this talented artist.

There is that one tattoo parlour which sells cheap Pokémon tattoos, with the drawback being customers must select a unique Pokémon at random from a gumball machine for their new body art. Then there was the gaming fan who got a stunning full leg sleeve of various poses of our man with no tan Kratos, from God Of War, which went all the way from ankle to crotch. We’ve also covered the silly side of tattoos, such as the FaZe streamer who got the Raven Software logo tattooed on his bum, after the studio rolled back a Call Of Duty feature he wasn’t a fan of.

Despite all these tattoo greats, we recently discovered a new favourite artist in Derek Turcotte. Turcotte has been into drawing ever since he was a kid, and only began taking his talent to the medium of tattoos when he turned 18. Clients can offer up their favourite gaming characters, and he will blend them together into a beautiful work of body art.

The work he shares on social media is often larger pieces that combine together someone's favourite characters from a particular franchise, or even just a mash up of besties from different series’. Each piece is intricately detailed, despite how big they are, and all blend together for one cohesive image.

Turcotte takes pride in his work and it's clear to see in the final products. Each leg must take him several sessions, which last for hours, but for the clients it seems that the results are very much worth it.
