This Incredible Star Wars ‘Skyrim’ Mod Is Everything I Never Knew I Needed

This Incredible Star Wars ‘Skyrim’ Mod Is Everything I Never Knew I Needed

You can now play Skyrim as a Jedi or Sith Lord - complete with Lightsabers, Stormtroopers, and the Force. Yes please.

Over a decade after its release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. The game has spawned some incredible mods. Whether you want NPCs to call you by your name, experience the game with 8K graphics, or traipse through a cyberpunk themed environment, there’s something for everyone.

The latest mod to catch our eye has landed at just the right time, because Star Wars Day is around the corner on 4 May. Well Padawans, May the fourth be with you. I bet you’ve guessed what I’m about to say. May I present to you, an incredible Star Wars themed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim mod. Prepare yourselves folks. It’s good.

Check out this compilation of funny wins and fails in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Available for download on Nexus Mods, you can now become a Jedi or Sith Lord all within the comfort of the Skyrim province. Wield a lightsaber instead of a sword as you tackle Stormtroopers in place of soldiers. Take a look at the mod in action below.

The notes detail that the mod also adds “3 Droids to the Dwemer Faction,” in addition to a whole host of iconic Star Wars weapons like Blaster Pistols, Tusken Rifles, and Purge Trooper Electrostaffs.

General Tullius will now sound like the Sith Lord himself Darth Vader, and even force powers are made available through the mod. It’s not simply an aesthetic overhaul. Everything interacts just as you’d hope, so yes you can deflect those Blaster shots with your Lightsaber.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is often considered to be one of the greatest video games ever created, and rightly so - and that’s without mods. Whilst I love the base game as it is, you best bet that I’ll be diving straight into this Star Wars mod. The force is definitely strong with this one.
