There’s not much more annoying than having to face hackers in online games. Even if you’re only playing casually, it’s frustrating to be forced into playing against someone with an unfair advantage, and that feeling only gets worse when you’re playing in any ranked modes, which can often seem difficult enough to improve in even at the best of times.
Understandably then, people never take too kindly to finding out that pro-players are cheaters themselves. As reported by Game Rant, the second highest ranked player in Call of Duty: Vanguard flung themselves into trouble on stream yesterday when they accidentally revealed their cheats, for all watching to see. Not a good look.

Pplehx was mid-match when their game stuttered for a moment, and then briefly showed other players’ positions highlighted through the walls. At the time, they excused it, saying that the game was lagging, but the damage had already been done.
Since then, Pplehx has admitted to the accusations, and has posted a full apology on Twitter, along with the proof of payment of the cheats. However, they insist that they got to their high ranking in the game without the help of cheats, and was simply using them to help unlock camos, which not everyone believes.
“Yes I know this is wrong,” Pplehx wrote in their apology. “I am not sure if I will ever tweet on this account or stream, BUT if I do I will forever monitor cam and show that I am not hacking[,] and I am better than the actions I had took [and] I will also show myself at LANs if I get the opportunity. I am not reaching for clout or want [sympathy,] as I said, I have no idea what in the world I was doing.

“I am sorry for the actions I have made, I will never cheat in anything again, I understand what it does to the people on the other side as well as myself, I have played against them before[,] it[’]s not fun. I am a true competitor and I have what it takes to be good without the cheats. But as far as competing goes and even streaming I don't know where it goes from here. I [apologise].”
