Deadpool & Wolverine full trailer just dropped, and it’s wild

Deadpool returns, and he's brought Hugh Jackman's Wolverine with him

As was promised yesterday, the first trailer has finally landed for the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine - and yes, everybody’s favourite merc with a mouth is just as mischievous as ever.

I say ‘first trailer’, we did, as you may recall, receive a short teaser trailer during the Super Bowl back in February in which Deadpool declared himself to be ‘Marvel Jesus’.

This time around though, we have a full-length trailer to feast our eyes upon and Deadpool might’ve been right. This is the MCU treat we’ve been longing for.

Naturally, this marks the first time that Deadpool has actually been considered a part of the MCU but don’t worry, he hasn’t lost his R-rated tendencies.

The title Deadpool & Wolverine also gives away the fact that Hugh Jackman is back - a blessed gift to us all.

Without further ado, take a look at Deadpool & Wolverine in action below.

Ouch. There’s one Wolverine claw move in that trailer that I’m imagining will leave more than a few viewers wincing at their screens.

Deadpool & Wolverine is due to slide into cinemas on 26 July so we don’t have too long to wait until we find out exactly what chaos this pair has been enacting upon the MCU’s multiverse.

“Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth, Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy,” reads the vague synopsis.

It’s believed the tale will involve the Time Variance Authority, introduced in Loki, but even following this trailer, Deadpool & Wolverine is still holding its narrative cards close to its chest.

We do get a very brief glimpse at Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova but emphasis on the word brief.

This trailer’s done what it was intended to do though: left us both curious and hyped.
