Uncharted Creator’s Marvel Game Features Captain America And Black Panther, Set During WW2

Amy Hennig's upcoming Marvel game appears to have leaked ahead of a full reveal later today.

Today is certainly an exciting day for Marvel fans. In just a few hours, Disney and Marvel are teaming up to hold their first ever gaming showcase. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Disney Dreamlight Valley are all set to appear but more excitingly, we’ll finally find out what Uncharted creator Amy Hennig has been cooking up. Rumours previously suggested it may be a Fantastic Four game, but it’s now looking like the project could see an unexpected team-up.

The showcase looks set to include an Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora update. Check out the original reveal trailer below.

All we officially know about Amy Hennig’s Marvel game is that it’s in development at Skydance Media, but now Twitter account MCUStatus is suggesting that the game will be a team-up between Black Panther and Captain America. It’s thought that the game will be set during World War II.

The tweet read, “We have heard the new Marvel video game from Skydance Media will be a WW2 set adventure featuring Captain America and Black Panther. The duo will face off against the forces of Hydra.” This is certainly an expected reveal, but you cannot deny that it sounds hugely exciting.

Eurogamer have since corroborated the rumour saying that they understand “this to be correct.” As with any rumour, we’ll have to wait until this news is officially confirmed but that should happen later tonight so stay tuned Marvel fans.
