I’m going to say it: Far Cry 3 is the best game in the franchise. Far Cry 3 just succeeds in every single way, from its shooting and stealth mechanics to its lush setting. The cherry on the top of this winning formula though is Far Cry 3’s villain: Vaas Montenegro.

Vaas is brought to life by actor Michael Mando, who you may also know as Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul. Mando told GAMINGbible that not only would he love to appear in a live-action Far Cry series, he’s pushing for the adaptation to happen. Despite his love for the franchise though, Mando has recently confessed that he hasn’t actually played Far Cry 3.

Did you know that Far Cry 6 has a secret ending? Check out how to unlock it below.

Michael Mando recently participated in an Ask Me Anything on the r/IAmA subreddit when a fan asked the actor if he’d played the game and what he thought of the experience. Mando replied, “I've never played Far Cry 3 but I've watched friends play it.” My dude, you are missing out.

He went on, “I think what they can do with the video game world is fascinating and I'd be interested in taking on a new character in that realm again. It's a very rich and still new form of storytelling - one that will be around for a long, long time and will only keep evolving.”

Mando also opened up about how portraying Vaas got the actor his big break. He explained, “My international break came with Vaas Montenegro in Far Cry 3. I was lucky enough to have co-created that character with Ubisoft. Truth is, no one knew he would become so iconic - it all picked up after the Definition Monologue went viral within a few days after the E3 convention. I was never supposed to be on the cover of the game sleeve either. It's honestly thanks to the fans. It was really a surprise. PS: Vaas is my power animal.” A power animal indeed. Vaas is an iconic gaming villain.
