'World Of Warcraft' Streamer Finally Gets Rare Item After Four Years Of Trying

Very few games have a lifespan comparable to that of World of Warcraft. Generally, a few years after release, the words ‘dated’ or ‘retro’ are thrown around when it comes to talking about video games, but World of Warcraft is still going strong despite being released back in 2004. Since then, the game has obviously received numerous updates in addition to eight major expansions.

It’s no secret that World of Warcraft is one of the most successful MMORPGs of all time. According to MMO Populations, World of Warcraft currently has around 1.14 million daily players and one of those players has recently defied the odds, finding a rare item after trying for four long and tedious years.

Twitch streamer Bingo1 has spent the past four years searching for Invincible’s Reins, an item with a drop rate of just one percent. The item is required to summon the Invincible Mount which is essentially a flying horse. Incredible stuff. GamesRadar+ reported that Bingo1 began looking for the item all the way back in 2013, but began a serious search in 2018.

This week, Bingo1’s dreams came true when the player finally stumbled across the fabled item. Invincible’s Reins can only be found in the 25-player heroic version of the Icecrown Citadel raid (thanks PC Gamer), adding to its scarcity. Bingo1 was unsurprisingly thrilled with this major dub. Take a look at the moment he found the item below. Warning: it’s loud.

If Bingo1 had any thoughts on the find, I’d share them here but instead his response was more along the lines of, “Let’s f**king go. Holy s**t. Let’s f**king go,” and honestly, what else would you expect in a moment of pure elation? Fair play, my man.
