We might be months away from the Halloween season, but it seems that PlayStation 5 gamers are in for a scary treat with a potential upcoming horror game.
The horror game in question is one that was initially believed to be an Xbox console exclusive, and it's Scorn developed by Ebb Software and published by Kepler Interactive. While not particularly a scary game, it is somewhat unnerving and most definitely grotesque, with its presentation inspired by the art of H. R Giger.

Scorn is played in a first-person perspective with the player located on a nightmarish alien wasteland full of horrid creatures. Gameplay mostly consists of exploration and a lot of puzzle-solving with a sprinkle of combat. Scorn wasn't reviewed as favourably as perhaps the pre-release hype would lead us to believe. On Metacritic, it garnered scores ranging from the high 60s to the low 70s. Regardless, as soon as you play Scorn, it will leave a lasting impression at least. Still, there will be a lot of PlayStation-exclusive gamers that have never got a chance to experience Scorn, but it seems their time might soon arrive.

As reported by Comicbook, the official Scorn Twitter account has been posting a number of cryptic tweets. Some eagle-eyed gamers believe that the tweets are in fact puzzles that secretly mention the PlayStation controller symbols. Which in turn, has led many to believe that a Sony release is imminent.
Obviously, the tweets could have nothing to do with Scorn coming to PlayStation 5. However, it’s not outside the realms of possibility for that to happen. We’ll keep you posted.
