Congratulations Halo Infinite fans, for your monumental win. Some of you can't even believe your luck as you've finally got *check notes* the doors you wanted? Yeah okay, it seems that the best thing that's happened to Halo Infinite fans since the very successful beta of the upcoming shooter is that they're getting the doors they want. And actually, that's just swell.

One recent post on the Halo subreddit has garnered a lot of support from like-minded individuals, as they all celebrate that they've got the Halo 3 Forerunner door they want in the game. Calling it just a door though would be an understatement, wouldn't it? It's more of a sign. A sign that 343 Industries is back on form and that Halo Infinite is the game that the fans have wanted for years now. The games had previously drifted away from the style and spirit that made Halo Halo and this door, this singular door is what's making fans perk up with the promise of the game they've been waiting for.

Memes have flooded not only the subreddit but Twitter, showing just how much fans have been looking forward to seeing the elements of older Halos reappear in Infinite. From complications of the door appearing in other games to show how its evolved to that famous clip of the bar that erupts with cheers as a goal is scored, there are a lot of people talking about this one door. It's nostalgic and even comforting. And I'm sure even though the fans are loving it all, the devs probably appreciate that their hard work is being noticed by their audience.
