PlayStation Plus' new free game has an iconic open world, over 250 hours gameplay

That's a lot of hours

Sony has just announced that the PlayStation Plus catalogue adding several titles to the subscription service. Now, customers who subscribe to the Extra and Premium tiers can enjoy over 250 hours of entertainment from GTAV.

The latest update sees 19 different games arriving for the service but leading the way, and building hype for the next installment is GTAV. If you haven’t played the classic game by Rockstar Games now is your chance. The city of Los Santos is waiting with hundreds of hours of activities, missions, and secrets.

With the hype building for GTAVI why not try out GTAV and lose yourself to it

It doesn’t matter what you focus on in GTAV, there’s always something to do. Of course, you have a story that takes you through many missions across several characters, but then there are lots of side missions, heists, robberies, and carjackings to keep you busy and keep the money rolling in. Or, if you’re that way inclined, you could do some role play within the game and take in all the activities like going to the theme park or hitting the night clubs.

Of course, the main reason for the inclusion of the game in this month’s PlayStation Plus update is likely due to the excitement for GTAVI spurred on by the recent trailer that showed off the main characters Lucia and Jason living in Vice City and set in the modern day.

According to How Long to Beat, GTAV will keep you busy for over 80 hours completing the story and all the side content, including finding any collectibles, but this doesn’t take into account general exploration, role-playing in GTA Online or just messing around with friends in the huge city.

Now is the time to start playing, especially if you have a lot of free time over the Christmas season. Why not celebrate Christmas with some carjacking and petty theft?
