If you know what you’re doing, you can make a fortune from Twitch, Kick and other platforms through the weird trends and challenges they’ve spawned, with one of the most bizarre being sleep-streams. This is essentially when a user goes to sleep on camera, and allows viewers to play loud sounds or videos on donating a certain amount of money. The entertainment factor comes from the streamer dozing off before being promptly scared awake by a sudden noise.

Plenty of streamers have tried this trend, though none have found as much success as Amouranth, who reportedly made $10,000-15,000 per sleep-stream.

Amouranth gained fame on the Twitch platform through ASMR, cosplay and hot-tub streams, before recently leaving her prior domain to join Kick instead, something a lot of streamers have done recently, including xQc who signed a $70,000,000 deal to join the platform. She’s also built a highly-successful Onlyfans career.

Recently, Amouranth appeared as a guest on ‘The Iced Coffee Podcast’ where she discussed her previous ventures and the astounding amount of money she earned from them.

When asked how much money the streamer earned from her sleep-streams, she said: ““If you count just on Twitch, probably like a couple thousand dollars … but, if you count the conversions, potentially, to OnlyFans, while I’m sleeping, then maybe like $10,000-$15,000.”

That’s an extraordinary amount of money for doing absolutely nothing, and it’s safe to say she shocked the podcast’s hosts, who were unaware of the concept prior to Amouranth telling them about it.

Amouranth plans to do more sleep-streams in the future, but says she finds it difficult to schedule them in advance. Honestly, I don’t think anyone could blame her, if I could earn passive income while getting my eight-hours in, I absolutely would.
