Assassin's Creed Valhalla is getting free Ezio DLC

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is getting free Ezio DLC

In celebration of Assassin's Creed Day, all Valhalla players can claim the free Young Ezio Legacy Outfit right now.

Yesterday (21 December) was Assassin’s Creed Day, and Ubisoft decided to treat fans with some totally free DLC.

It’s been a very exciting year for Assassin’s Creed fans - with announcements for Assassin’s Creed Mirage (which features Valhalla’s Basim and takes place in ninth century Baghdad), Codename Red (AKA the Japanese AC game we’ve been dreaming of for years), and the mysterious Codename Hexe. Valhalla has also been the recipient of plenty of DLC this year, and Ubisoft is wrapping up 2022 with a neat little gift that you won’t want to miss.

Take a look at the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage below.

Valhalla players can now get their hands on the Young Ezio Legacy Outfit - a new getup to make Eivor resemble the fan-favourite assassin from Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations. All you’ll need to do is head to Ubisoft Connect, where’ll you’ll be able to redeem it for the low, low price of nothing. Then, you’ll be able to pretend that Valhalla was another Ezio game all along. Sort of.

Two years after its initial release, Valhalla recently landed on Steam, and despite the fact that it was generally received well by fans and critics, it’s been bombarded with negative reviews. Why? Because, for some reason, it doesn’t feature any achievements to unlock, which is baffling when you consider it already has a lengthy list of them on other platforms (some Platinum trophy hunters might argue it even has too many).

Meanwhile, some leaked footage for Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade seemingly appeared online earlier this week, and assuming it’s real, it’s genuinely looking pretty fantastic despite the fact that it's a mobile title. The game is set in ancient China, which in itself is an incredibly exciting concept, and one that fans have been begging for for some time now. At the time of writing, it unfortunately doesn’t have a confirmed release window, but there are plenty of AC releases for fans to look forward to soon.
