Batman is one of the most iconic comic book characters ever, and live-action adaptations have been blessed with many incarnations of the Caped Crusader.
From the legendary, Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson and more. An honourable mention must go to Kevin Conroy, who finally played a live-action Bruce Wayne in an Arrowverse crossover event.
One other actor that has donned the live-action cape is Ben Affleck. However, unlike most of the other names mentioned above, Affleck has never starred in his own Batman movie, despite fans wanting to see it happen. Instead, he has starred in collaboration movies including Batman v Superman, Justice League, Suicide Squad, and recently, The Flash.

There were plans for a standalone movie, with Affleck starring and directing, featuring Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke until it was cancelled. So whether you’re a fan of Affleck’s version of Batman or not, it’s hard to dispute that he should have had at least one standalone outing.
It seems that Ben Affleck feels the same. As reported by InsideTheMagic.net, during a brief interview on the red carpet during The Flash premiere, Affleck admitted that his version of Batman “was over too soon”.

Sadly for Affleck and his fans, it seems The Flash will be the last time we’ll see him play Batman. James Gunn and Peter Safran are leading the new DC Universe and we already know that Affleck won’t play Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Batman: Brave and the Bold. What’s more, Robert Pattinson will have his own The Batman trilogy directed by Matt Reeves.
In related DC video game news, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon has provided a promising update giving fans some hope that Injustice 3 still might happen one day, after the release of Mortal Kombat 1.
The Flash movie, which features the returning Michael Keaton as Batman releases in cinemas this week.
