The world seemingly cannot get enough of Fallout 4 in large part due to the success of the new live-action show from Amazon Studios.
To say that the Fallout live-action series from Amazon Studios had become an overnight success would be an understatement. Fallout debuted as one of the most successful video game adaptations of all time following in the footsteps of The Last of Us, garnering a Rotten Tomatoes score of 93%.

So it should come as no surprise that Fallout was quickly renewed for a second season. What’s more, fans have been playing Fallout 4 in the swarms making a game that was originally released in 2016 one of today’s most popular, which finally benefited from its free new-gen update this week.

One of the other reasons why there are a lot of gamers playing Fallout 4 right now other than the Amazon show and the free new-gen update is that it’s also available to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscribers at no extra cost. But what if you weren't a subscriber to either and wanted to purchase a physical copy of Fallout 4?
As reported by GameSpot, you’d likely be out of luck if you wanted to buy a brand-new copy of Fallout 4. Retailers in the US such as GameStop are selling out of new copies of Fallout 4 on Xbox and PlayStation, which shouldn't be all that surprising, considering it was released in 2016 and Bethesda is unlikely to produce a huge amount of new copies.
Even other major retailers such as Amazon in the US and UK are selling out of new copies. Your best chance of getting a physical copy would be via third-party sellers. In the UK, you can pick up a copy for £5 or less via eBay or CEX, so be sure to shop about.
If not, like I said, Fallout 4 is available via Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus but it’s also often discounted quite heavily in digital sales now and again.
