Listen, we all know that Cyberpunk 2077's launch was a hot mess and a blemish on CD Projekt's reputation that it may never recover from. I'm not here to go over all that again.
Of all the things that went wrong with Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, perhaps the thing that bothered me most was the lack of flying cars. Oh, you can see flying cars jetting around Night City - you can even ride in one depending on which life path you choose at the start of the game - but you can never actually get behind the driving seat of one.

To be fair to CD Projekt RED, the developer never actually promised we'd be able to fly around in our own souped-up cars. But it still hurt to watch them soar overhead while I trudged around on foot. I mean, what's the point of exploring a futuristic city if I can't even hop in a damn flying car?

And while the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion and free Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update are set to completely overhaul many aspects of the game, flying cars remain elusive. I remain heartbroken.
Thankfully, there is a mod designed to ease the pain. We've seen thrilling overhauled police chases, a working subway system, and even a third-person mod, but this flying cars mod from modder Jack Humbert fixes one of the game's biggest missed opportunities.
This is a classic mod you may have already heard of, but if you somehow missed it, it basically allows all cars and bikes to take to the skies of Night City. There's even a Back To The Future-style effect in which the wheels turn up inside the vehicle when you activate flight mode.
From the many, many Cyberpunk 2077 mods out there, I reckon this might just be the best one.
