Diablo IV's free download is well worth checking out. Who doesn't love a freebie?

Diablo IV is the latest entry in Activision Blizzard’s long-running, action RPG series. Players can choose from a total of five character classes, The Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid and Rogue. The fifth character class is the Necromancer, making its debut in the series.

Diablo IV may have only been released this week on 5 June 2023, but it’s already proving to be one of the year's best-reviewed games. Depending on the platform on Metacritic, Diablo IV has garnered scores between 87 and 93.

Other than immersive co-op play, an addictive gameplay loop and a devilish theme, Diablo IV players can’t get enough precious loot to help make their character become the most powerful, and visually impressive in the party. Sure, loot is plentiful in the Sanctuary, but sometimes, it’s nice to gain loot without having to work so hard for it.

Thankfully, as reported by Kotaku, Prime Gaming has your back. By simply tuning in to watch your favourite Diablo IV streamers on Twitch, you will be rewarded with in-game gear. As detailed on Blizzard.com, players can acquire exclusive loot over the next four weeks. However, be sure to link your Amazon/Prime Gaming and Battle.net accounts first.

In Week One of the Diablo IV Twitch Drops from 5 June to 11 June, Rogue and Necromancer players can earn the Azurehand Back-Stabber Dagger recolour and Azurehand Heart-Piercer Sword recolour. For those extra committed fans, if you watch up to six hours of content, you will also be rewarded with the Matron-Sigil Coffer and Progenitor Favour back trophies.

During Week Two between 12 June to 18 June, by watching three hours of Diablo VI streaming goodness, Sorcerer’s will be gifted with the Azurehand Spell-Slinger Wand weapon recolour, while six hours will earn you the Hellrune Tabernacle back trophy.

During Week Three between 19 June to 25 June, after three hours of streaming viewing, Druid players will be rewarded with the Azurehand Head-Cleaver weapon recolour and six hours will get you the Font of the Mother back trophy.

During Week Four between 26 June to 2 July, Barbarian players will be gifted with the Azurehand Skull-Crusher weapon recolour for three hours and Diablo VI stream viewing, and six hours will bag you the Matriarch’s Mantle back trophy.

Finally, between 5 June to 2 July, simply by supporting a streamer by gifting their channel with two Twitch subscriptions on any tier, you will be rewarded with the Primal Instinct Mount. Happy days!

Hopefully, players will be able to not only enjoy the Diablo VI Twitch streams to bag some loot, but get into a game too. Following its launch, PS5 players grew frustrated with not being able to access the game due to error Code 315306, claiming that their game is invalid. What’s more, servers have been strained with error code 395002, rendering the game unplayable Oh, the joys of online-only games.

Diablo IV is out now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
