'Elden Ring' Player Discovers Wall That Opens After 50 Hits, Fans Terrified

Elden Ring players have discovered a hidden wall that takes 50 hits to break, raising the question of how many more of them there might be.

Oh dear god. Elden Ring was already a very intimidating, and frankly terrifying game to get into, with its ridiculously tough bosses ready to beat your poor character into a pulp at every turn. Just to make matters worse, players have just made a haunting discovery, which is going to change the way we play the game forever.

Throughout the Lands Between, there’s a number of illusory walls, which, when given a smack, reveal hidden treasures or areas. These walls are pretty tricky to spot, and so many gamers have been utilising the message system to leave hints, to help others find them. Inevitably, this has also led to people encouraging others to hit normal walls, just to be a bit annoying. But hey, at least it only takes one hit to determine if they were telling the truth or not, right? Hahahaha. No.

Even though some player messages in Elden Ring might actually try to help you out, many are just straight up ridiculous - check out a compilation of some of the funniest ones below.

As reported by Game Rant, one Reddit user shared the harrowing news on r/EldenRing that apparently, there’s at least one illusory wall in the game which takes a whopping 50 hits to open up. The wall in question is located in Volcano Manor, which is a significant way through the game. Check it out below.

Fan reaction to this discovery has been hilarious: “Imagine zoning out, looking at Reddit on your phone while you absentmindedly beat a random wall with your sword because you love the beautiful clanging of steel against stone… and after a few minutes you just fall through the wall into a sad dinner party,” wrote one user. “Sharing this video doomed us all. How could you. I would have rather lived in ignorance,” said another.

Obviously, the question on everyone’s mind now is just how many more of these 50 hit walls could there be? All those walls you tried hitting once and moved on from, could they have just required a bit more force? What secrets could they have been hiding?! Completionists are quaking.
