Fans are once again calling on DC to cancel the upcoming The Flash film due to star Ezra Miller’s ongoing legal troubles. In June, the actor deleted their Instagram as a North Dakota court sought to track Miller down to serve a protective order against them. Miller was accused of grooming an 18-year-old minor.

In Massachusetts, a mother and 12-year-old daughter had also been granted a temporary harassment protection order against the actor, and Miller previously faced charges of disorderly conduct and harassment in Hawaii and Iceland.

Miller has now been charged with felony burglary. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vermont State Police allegedly charged Miller with the theft after they stole several bottles of alcohol from an unoccupied home in Stamford, Vermont. The report details that police proceeded with charging Miller after gathering surveillance footage and witness statements. Miller was located and issued with a citation on 7 August and will appear in court for arraignment in September.

A recent investigation by Rolling Stone claimed that Miller was housing a mother and her three young children at a farm in Stamford, Vermont. Sources told Rolling Stone that the environment was “unsafe,” with unattended guns left strewn around the property. On one occasion, a one-year-old ended up playing with a loose bullet, putting it in her mouth. The report also claimed that marijuana was used repeatedly in front of the children.

Despite the mounting allegations against Miller, DC are yet to announce any changes to the release of The Flash. In fact, following last week’s cancellation of Batgirl, Warner Bros said that they plan to focus on “great DC films” citing The Flash as an example. The film is still scheduled to be released on 23 June, 2023.
