As much as I love every game in the Fallout series, there's something extra special about Fallout New Vegas. Developer Obsidian took what Bethesda had done with Fallout 3 and made a much tighter, RPG-heavy experience. That it was made in just 18 months is, frankly, a miracle.
It's a damn crime Obsidian hasn't been able to make a new Fallout since New Vegas, and while it's great to see Fallout 76 go from strength to strength, we want to go back to Mojave Wasteland for more adventures. Fortunately, it looks like our wish might actually be about to be granted.
Take a look at this stunning mod for Fallout: New Vegas below. The children, they yearn for more Fallout. And if Bethesda isn't going to do it, you can always trust the fans.
On 29 February, European ratings board PEGI added a new rating for a PC version of Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition, completely out of the blue. It's worth noting than an Ultimate Edition of New Vegas does already exist, and contains the base game plus a bunch of small content packs. But this released in February 2012, so what's with the update in February 2024?

It could be nothing more exciting than a slightly updated version of the bundle coming to PC, but many fans are hopeful we could be getting a remaster or, better yet, a full remake of New Vegas.
With the Fallout TV series landing next month and Fallout 5 still years away (a decade at least!), we'd imagine Bethesda would want to capitalise on the hype and get something out. I'd have assumed the new-gen update for Fallout 4 would've been the surest bet, but if we are getting a new version of New Vegas you certainly won't hear any complaining from me.
