Fallout and Star Wars collide

Now that Starfield is out, it's fair to say it's not quite the game everyone hoped it would be. That's not to say it's not a great game, but eager fans definitely have some problems with the RPG.

While we here at GAMINGbible very much enjoyed Starfield, even giving it a rare 10/10, now that it's been out for a few days fans are starting to discover a series of minor annoyances. There are far too many loading screens, for a start. And space travel isn't quite what anyone hoped it would be.

Take a look at our Starfield review below!

If Starfield isn't your cup of tea, you might want to take a look at Star Wars Open Worlds, a brand-new open-world Star Wars RPG that's being developed in Fallout: New Vegas. This is, of course, a fan project, but the amount of work that's going into this is seriously impressive.

This mod has been in development for a few years now, and is still in the works, but it certainly sounds ambitious. Players can select one of four different paths when they start out: Darkside, Lightside, Gray, and Sandbox.

After being abducted by slavers, their character stages a daring breakout and finds themselves with an entire galaxy to explore. Galactic Empire.

"The path you choose will influence the direction of the story, the conclusion, and which companions are available to you," explain the modders. "The player will be able to design their character at the start of the game using an in-depth customization system. Choose your species, name, and various facial features to create a character unique to you. Because this is an RPG game, the player will also be able to choose various skills to upgrade and unlock as they progress."

The modders also promise 12 planets are available to explore, featuring "breathtakingly unique environments, stories, and characters." It's highly unlikely there'll be seamless travel between planets, but this is a New Vegas mod, so let's maybe cut them some slack there.

You can also expect new weapons, stories, and items all based on the classic galaxy far, far away. There's no release date for this mod yet, but it's definitely one you'll want to keep an eye on.
