Today is the day that we finally see Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer in all its glory. Ahead of the big reveal this evening, Activision and Treyarch have left a few teasers giving fans some idea of what the expect from the upcoming shooter... and it looks like longtime fans of the franchise can expect some fan-favourite weapons to return.

A string of videos shared by the official Call Of Duty twitter account has been counting down to the full reveal, dropping hints all the way. Yesterday, we got a first look at the returning RC-XD. This classic killstreak weapon made its first appearance in the original Black Ops - and who wouldn't love it? It's literally a remote-controlled car rigged with an explosive charge.

The RC-XD also made a brief appearance in Call Of Duty: Warzone, in one of the game's hidden bunkers leading up to the Black Ops Cold War reveal. It's return in the upcoming game isn't a huge surprise then, but it's nice to see some kind of confirmation.

A more recent clip appears to confirm that the much-loved AK-47 will also be making a return. This high-powered rifle is often a popular choice in Call Of Duty games, and has existed as part of the franchise since long before the original Black Ops. No doubt its inclusion in Black Ops Cold War will be welcomed by those players who favour its modest strength and variable range.

It's worth pointing out that the AK-47 hasn't exactly seen a ton of love from players in Modern Warfare and Warzone... but Treyarch is a different developer and weapon balancing will be completely different in the upcoming shooter. Your most-hated weapon in Modern Warfare could become your best friend in Black Ops Cold War. You'll just have to wait and see.

The full multiplayer reveal is scheduled for 6pm BST later this evening, and we will of course be on hand with everything you need to know about the latest Call Of Duty adventure. Make sure to watch this space.
