Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 has already leaked online

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 has already leaked online

One dataminer appears to have leaked information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 online.

It’s a big day in the world of Call of Duty. CoD Next returns later today, giving us a fresh glimpse at what’s to come in the famed franchise.

Clearly, we know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is the next major release. It’s set to land on 10 November 2023, with the beta getting underway on PlayStation this weekend. Xbox and PC users will then be able to join in next weekend. It’s reported that Modern Warfare III’s take on the classic ‘No Russian’ mission is even more disturbing than the original. We’re also eagerly awaiting the return of Zombies. A brand new open-world Zombies mode is on the way. We’ve received a cinematic trailer, but could we receive fresh gameplay later today? Unbelievably, leakers are already looking ahead to next year’s CoD release which looks to be Black Ops 6.

Take a look at the cinematic trailer for the new open-world Zombies mode below.

Dataminer uwuleaker99 took to Twitter to share a very cryptic tweet. They wrote, “//ZM Quartz Deck Cannon Trap t10_mp_strafe_fast_jump_air_8 //ZM Tentacle Trap t10_zm_tentacle_trap_idle //ZM GARNET ww quest ai_cer_zm_vermin_scare_jump_02 ai_cer_zm_vermin_scare_jump_01 ai_cer_zm_player_scare_jump_02”. If you’re sitting there thinking, huh? Don’t worry, I’m on hand to decrypt.

Fans are under the assumption that ‘t10’ indicates Treyarch’s 10th game, which is believed to be Black Ops 6 releasing next year in 2024. Perhaps more obviously, the tweet mentions a ‘tentacle trap’ and ‘vermin jump scare’. While it’s not impossible to, in theory, stumble across a large rat on the battlefield, ‘tentacle trap’ seemingly hints towards something a tad more other-wordly. This has led many to guess that Black Ops 6 will also include a Zombies mode at launch.

Admittedly, it’s not a lot to go on - and we should take all leaks with a generous pinch of salt. To hear the latest in official Call of Duty news, you can tune into CoD Next at 5PM BST / 12PM EDT / 9AM PDT.
