Lots to assess.

A popular Call Of Duty YouTuber claims to have heard a ton of new details on Call Of Duty 2020, and recently shared what they discovered in a massive video. The substantial leak contains alleged insider info on the upcoming game's maps, modes, features, and plenty more.

XclusiveAce uploaded a video over the weekend filled with info he says he learned from someone involved with development on the game. It's presumed that this mysterious someone is - or was - involved with testing/QA on the title.

This source allegedly showed the YouTuber gameplay, map overviews, campaign details, and loads more from the unannounced Call Of Duty. Curiously, the video outlining everything has now been set to private, but CharlieIntel managed to highlight the key info.

As has been reported multiple times now, the game is reportedly set to be a Black Ops reboot set in the 60s. The video also claims that the game will feature a traditional campaign and multiplayer, as well as Zombies.

It seems Warzone will also make the transition with a new map... although it's unclear whether or not Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward will continue to work on the free-to-play battle royale, or hand control over to Call Of Duty 2020 studio Treyarch.

XclusiveAce claims that the game is in a "good state" and that the campaign and multiplayer maps are almost finished. He also said that the standard mini-map will return, similar to the one seen before Modern Warfare. However, there will also be a compass, which was introduced in last year's entry.

Unlimited sprint is said to return, alongside a swimming mechanic. Expect water to feature in several MP maps, as well as the new Warzone map. Of the standard MP maps, apparently ten have been developed so far. One is said to be "very small" and is set on a boat on the Black Sea. The new Warzone map is supposedly set in Russia, with lines up with some previous rumours.

It's also understood that 6v6 will be the standard player count, and that the small-scale Gunfight mode introduced in Modern Warfarewon't be returning. There's also "apparently a mode" in MP that takes place on various sections of the new Warzone map.

As for player progression and perks, it sounds like Call Of Duty 2020 won't feature Specialists - but there'll a feature similar to the Field Upgrades. There's no Dead Silence in the game "at this time", although XclusiveAce also couldn't confirm how loud or quiet footstep audio is in the title at the moment.

And that's pretty much it. At least for now. We can't speak to the validity of these claims, sadly, and advise you to take everything with the usual pinch of salt for now. With that said, the fact XclusiveAce set the video to private suggests he said something he shouldn't have. We'll have to wait and see.
