Promotional material for this year's Call Of Duty has appeared online, pretty much confirming what we already knew: Sledgehammer Games' latest instalment is a World War II shooter launching under the name Call Of Duty: Vanguard.

The leaked images, which you can see below, show off the game's logo and key art. Charlie Intel reports that dataminers managed to uncover these images after digging through the files for Black Ops Cold War's Season 5 update.

As with any Call Of Duty game, it looks like Vanguard will be sold as part of various editions. The key art mentions a Standard Edition, a Cross-Gen Bundle, and an Ultimate Edition. Some of these will grant access to the game's open beta, although there's no mention of when exactly this will be made available to participants.

Three Operator skins are also present (Lucas, Polina and Wade), as well as a slew of special weapons and exclusive cosmetics. Because Call Of Duty always needs special weapons and exclusive cosmetics.

According to reliable industry insider Tom Henderson, a leaker with a proven track record in regards to Battlefield and Call Of Duty, Vanguard will release November 5 alongside a new WWII-themed map for Call Of Duty: Warzone. This new map will replace the current Verdansk map, and is rumoured to be much larger.

Henderson also suggests that a full reveal for Vanguard is expected August 19, which is also the rumoured date for Sony's next State Of Play presentation. We'd suspect the two events are linked. We'll update you with more on Call Of Duty: Vanguard as we get it.
