'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Players Are Livid After Even More MP5 Nerfs

Here we go again...

Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Reloaded has landed, and with it a ton of new things for players to complain about. Mixed in with the usual batch of new playlists, events, weapons, and features, Season 5 Reloaded also includes yet another dreaded weapon tuning update. This time, it's the already controversial MP5 in the firing line.

As you may recall, the MP5 was heavily nerfed at the start of Season 5, leaving Warzone players especially furious that one of the most reliable Modern Warfare guns was effectively being torn down, with many believing it was in an effort to make the newer Black Ops Cold War weapons more viable.

As undoubtedly irritating as this may have been, players soon uncovered a cheeky way to buff the MP5 by using 10mm magazines to greatly improve the weapons time-to-kill. Using this trick, the MP5 was once again a useful weapon capable of standing up against the best of Black Ops Cold War's guns... for a time.

Clearly developer Raven Software never intended for this buff to be as useful as it was, and the weapon's damage with the 10mm mags has been reduced for 34 to 31 accordingly. Naturally, this hasn't gone down brilliantly with fans.

"Can someone please explain to me why the actual f**k they are still nerfing the MW MP5?" asked one Reddit user. Others in the thread believe it's because Activision and Raven Software are still trying to push the newer weapons, but it's worth noting this is entirely unconfirmed.

"They realized it was one of the last remnants of joy we have left from the game so it must be destroyed," joked another user.

Just another day in Call Of Duty land.
