With dedicated fans still desperate for more of the magical world, an upcoming Harry Potter related project has recently been announced and it can’t come soon enough.
It has been a while since Hogwarts Legacy was released and there seems to be no more signs of the upcoming Harry Potter TV adaptation by Warner Bros. However, all is not lost for fans of the fantasy series as Audible has recently announced its upcoming project.

The online audiobook company has revealed that it will be teaming up with J.K. Rowling to launch a new series of audio dramas based on the much-loved book series.

This means that Audible subscribers will be able to access full-cast audio with hundreds of, yet unnamed, actors taking on the roles. However, as this project has no direct correlation to the movies, it is unlikely that we will see any actors reprising their roles.
Either way, this will be the largest project based on a fantasy series since Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman hit the service and we can only imagine this will be even more successful considering Harry Potter’s dedicated fanbase.

This excitement was backed up by Neil Blair, the chairman of Pottermore Publishing. He said: "We are delighted to be collaborating with Audible on what will be a groundbreaking audio edition of the beloved Harry Potter stories.

Rowling's storytelling lends itself perfectly to the application of new audiobook technologies, and we're certain this sophisticated, immersive audio experience will not only add a new listening dimension for existing fans but will introduce a whole new generation of listeners to the wizarding world."
