A real unit.

We're finally one week away from the release of Cyberpunk 2077. After years of waiting and multiple delays, CD Projekt RED's ambitious sci-fi RPG will soon be in our hands - although it seems some lucky gamers have already managed to get their mitts on it.

Yes, social media is now awash with users who've been sent their copies of the game a full week early, meaning they can dive in long before the rest of us get a chance. I'm not jealous at all. Obviously this means there are going to spoilers everywhere, so do be careful where you click for the next seven days. While GAMINGbible definitely won't be sharing anything spoiler-y with you, we do think it's worth picking up on one leaked piece of information regarding the file size of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4.

Now, if for some weird reason the game's file size is something you'd rather find out for yourself closer to launch, then don't read any further. But if you're normal and would like a rough idea of how much space you'll need for Cyberpunk 2077, we're happy to report that leaked box art puts the game at 56.325GB - that's without any patches.

As reported by Push Square, this 56GB was originally alleged by a Reddit user to be the size of a massive Day One patch, but CDPR has since confirmed that such a patch does not exist - meaning this install was for the game itself rather than anything additional. That's certainly not a small install, but given the scale and ambition of Cyberpunk 2077, I'd say that's actually quite reasonable. It certainly puts games like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War to shame, the latter of which demands an eye-watering 95GB of space on Sony's console.

What's not entirely clear is why someone who has the game early would lie about there being 56GB update. Then again, the internet is a strange and often sad place where people do things just to watch the world burn. All that matters is you will not be downloading a 56GB patch when Cyberpunk 2077 launches on December 10th. We're one step closer to Keanu.
