Some don't take kindly to waiting

There's still so much we don't know about Grand Theft Auto VI, and it seems the wait for more information on Rockstar's in-development open-world game is starting to take its toll on some fans.

For those of you keeping score, Grand Theft Auto V launched back in 2013. In that time, the game has been ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is currently gearing up to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in the form of an "expanded and enhanced edition" in just a few months. For the better part of the last decade, we have heard nothing official about the next game in the series.

Take a look at some of the best GTA wins/fails below!

Perhaps this lengthy wait for news is why one fan decided to crash a live TV show in Germany and demand to know where exactly GTA VI is. The gamer in question, who apparently goes by Taser, stormed the stage of German game show Schlag den Star (Beat The Celebrity) to ask the host, a comedian called Elton, about GTA VI. Maybe Elton's uncle works at Rockstar? I'm not sure why else Taser thought this is where he'd get the answers he was looking for.

As you can see below, Elton was only able to respond with a nervous shrug. It seems the cast and crew of Schlag den Star know about as much as we do on the subject of GTA VI. You learn something new every day. Taser was left none the wiser, and was swiftly escorted off the stage by security. You can see the strange moment for yourself below.

GTA VI is, realistically speaking, still a long way off. Last we'd heard from an insider report, Rockstar was happy to take as long as needed on the game to try and mitigate crunch. It's also been claimed that Rockstar knows it can take its time because we'll all keep buying GTA V and spending money on GTA Online for years to come. They're not wrong, either.
