Nintendo has finally announced when it will show its E3 offerings for 2021. E3 is the time of year where almost every large studio and publisher is expected to give a presentation on what to expect from said brand over the next year or two. Nintendo has notably changed its tactics over the past few years to release game releases in its own time, via digital Direct showcases, but thankfully will still give us a presentation during this E3.

Nintendo's Game Boy continues to be one of the most influential consoles of all time. Here's its history...

Nintendo has tweeted out that this year it will be streaming its Nintendo Direct on June 15 at 17:00 BST. The entire presentation will be about 40 minutes long and almost all of the games that are discussed within the Direct will have expected release dates within 2021.

Immediately after the Nintendo Direct there will be a follow-up presentation lasting three whole hours showing off deep dives into gameplay from a wealth of titles. It's not clear which games are going to appear in the deep-dive, but spending three whole hours showing off feature to audiences is certainly a statement. Could we be looking at Breath of the Wild 2 gameplay? Or perhaps we'll finally see something from the next Metroid. We only have until June 15 to find out.
