Honestly, it's becoming difficult to name actors who aren't in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point. Though there are those who aren't a big fan of Marvel's superpowered properties, it seems that A-list actors of all shapes and sizes want to be involved in future projects. Last week we reported that Henry Cavill was meeting with Marvel but today we've heard that Norman Reedus wants to be Ghost Rider.

As reported by Comicbook, who had an interview with The Walking Dead star, Reedus is really down to play Ghost Rider if the opportunity arises. In the interview, he says: "The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, I mean you've got pull. Tell them to put me in it. I want to play Ghost Rider."

Here is the amusing trailer for Death Stranding's director's cut, launching on PS5 on September 24, 2021 and starring Norman Reedus...

When thinking about a potential film, the host mentions that we could potentially see Reedus's old friend Jon Bernthal as The Punisher opposite Ghost Rider, which to Reedus sounds "so fun". He says: "That would be great. So, I don't know, call somebody, make that happen. I want to do it. I want a fire skull. I want my face to turn into a fire skull and whip a chain around. That would be great."

Reedus has been involved in The Walking Dead for an eternity now, starring as Daryl Dixon since 2010 which is where most people will know his face. In the gaming world, however, he's perhaps better known as the protagonist in the legendary demo P.T. as he was set to star in Konami's Silent Hills before it was cancelled. Since then he's played Sam Porter Bridges in Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima's eccentric walking action-drama (if that's even a thing) which is set to launch a director's cut edition in September 2021.
