Online Motivational Speaker Looks An Awful Lot Like An 'Oblivion' NPC

"There is no such thing as a coincidence."

The star of a TikTok video that recently blew up online has started being described as an NPC from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion come to life, and it's not hard to see why.

TikTok creator William Knight has found fame online for a deeply unsettling video in which he seems to peer into our very souls. "There is no such thing as a coincidence," he tells us as he stares directly into the camera without blinking. "The fact that you are seeing this video means you are energetically aligned with me, and this message."

It's intense stuff, which is perhaps why the woman who jogs past him in the video screams as he swiftly turns and stares her down before continuing with his vague affirmations. You can check out the original video here, if you haven't already.

Because the internet is the internet, Knight's original video has already been meme'd up countless times in a number of ways. It has now found its natural home on Reddit, where Knight has been transformed into an actual Oblivion NPC - not that it needed much work, mind you.

As you can see from the video above, all that's been done to harness that Oblivion energy is place music from the game over the top of the original video. That's it. It was already more than halfway there to be fair, as Knight possesses all the qualities of a classic Elder Scrolls NPC: The sudden turn to camera, the unblinking stare, the un-changing expression. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was a leaked video from The Elder Scrolls VI.

Honestly, I give it a couple of months at most until Knight has actually been modded into Oblivion with his own unique quest and voice lines. Watch this space.
